The Ambassadors are a select group of volunteers who actively serve as the goodwill arm of the Chamber. Considered one of the best ways to gain an in depth understanding of how all the facets of our Coastside community work together, the Ambassadors Committee offers opportunities to connect, engage and inspire other businesses on the coast. Responsibilities include promoting the Chamber membership, attending Chamber events, and marketing the Chamber and its causes. Ambassadors serve as an extension to the Chamber staff and on occasion as a liaison.

Laura Marley was born in San Francisco and her parents moved the family to El Granada in 1966. Laura graduated from HMBHS in 1975 alongside working for The Mello’s at Moby Taco and The Blanda’s at Blanda’s Deli. It was in 1975 that Laura started her Insurance career and found herself working alongside Y.A. Tittle in the early 80’s and orchestrating the insurance programs for the then, startup companies that included National Semi-conductor, Applied Materials, Intel, Advanced Micro Devices, Western Digital and alike. Laura became a part-time Independent LegalShield Associate in 2009 and 2 short years later, she retired her insurance career, to work her LegalShield business full-time and serve others. Laura has been married to Jeff Marley since 1987, having met each other in 1985, playing Co-ed Softball in HMB. Jeff & Laura bought a home in San Carlos in 1988 and commuted together to San Francisco. They have 2 sons, Jeff, Jr. 29 and Jason, 23. In 2014 the family purchased a home in El Granada and Laura joined the HMB Chamber immediately & became an active Ambassador. Laura is extremely passionate about the opportunity to pay it forward, in the pursuit of Civic volunteering & educating all North American households and Small Business owners that affordable access to the justice system and solid ID Monitoring & Restoration services are available and second to none!

She holds Business (BBA) and Psychology (BS) degrees from Southern Methodist University, having graduated Magna Cum Laude. As a veteran of many challenging management, software engineering and technical customer support positions, Kirsten distinguished herself by delivering exceptional performance and service in the software industry prior to transitioning to Real Estate. 

Kirsten discovered the magic of the coast in the late 1980's, built her home here in the 1990's and raised her family here.  She feels incredibly fortunate every day to enjoy living, working, volunteering, and playing in this remarkable community
